The shopping cart is a free one and has some limitations. Calculating the shipping cost is one of those limitations. The cart cannot determine that I can ship 6 lbs of clay in an envelope for $6.50 but can only ship 3 lbs of Alley Goop for the same price. All it can do is add the total units for each item and come up with an Estimate. I guarantee you that I do ship your items to you in the best way possible.

Flat Rate shipping on most orders of either $6.75 or $13.00 depending on box, (or shipping cost could be between the two stated).

International flat rate of $18.50 for envelopes under 4 lbs, $49.50 from 4 lbs to 20 lbs.

Darwi Modeling Compound

Designed in Belgium as a compound for the repair of ceramic and wood items, this clay is a perfect medium for sculpltors, students and painters. Darwi is an air-dryclay with very little shrinkage as it dries to a hard finish within 24 hrs. Adheres to almost any medium and can be used on numerous applications. This heatproof compound has proven successful and quite popular for making metal casting molds. White in color. Darwi is non-toxic and paints/colors very nicely.

Cloth Clay by LaDoll® - NOT a Transparent or clear medium.
Cloth Clay This is one of the most insteresting products we've come across in a while. Whether you work in fabric or in polymer or in paper clays - this material is sure to inspire further creations! Cloth Clay air dries - no baking necessary!
Here's how you can use it...
1. Make a body, head and limbs with wire armature (if desired) and using the material of your choice.
2. Cut out lace or fabric to the desired dress/clothing size. Stitch, for gathers or construction, if necessary.
3. Pour the necessary quantity of Cloth Clay into a bowl. Amount of clay will vary depending on the amount of cloth.
4. Soak the fabric thoroughly with Cloth Clay. After the fabric is thoroughly permeiated with the clay, lightly squeeze (do NOT twist) the excess clay back into the bowl. Twisting the fabric will result in an uneven finish. You want enough Cloth Clay in the fabric but you don't need it "dripping wet".
5. Return the remaining Cloth Clay to the original container and tightly sealed. You may wish to place a piece of plastic wrap over the top of the container before tightening the top. You want to keep as much air out of the clay as possible.
6. Spread out the squeezed cloth - separting the folds, etc., and place it on the doll's body. Remove any threads you might have used for gathering if necessary and cut all thread tails. Let air dry completely once you have the fabric placed as you would like.
7. If desired, and the fabric lends itself to painting, paint your creation with any water-based medium that you wish.
8. If desired, apply a finish coat with a water-based, clear finish, such as a clear lacquer, metallic art, etc.
